LED revenue increased by 6% sequentially to reach $98.9 million. In the year ago quarter, Crees LED revenue was $65.5 million. In calendar 2007, the companys total LED revenue was approximately $351 million.
GAAP net income for second quarter was $6.6 million, or $0.08 per diluted share, compared to net income of $16.5 million or $0.21 per diluted share for the year-ago quarter.

LEDs sales at Cree exceeded $350 million for calendar year 2007, according to the companys latest financial results. LED maker Crees total revenue was $119 million for its fiscal second quarter ended December 30, 2007. This represents a sequential 5% increase compared to the previous Quarter, and a 34% increase compared to revenue of $88.8 million reported one year ago.
