The first Tegra 2 mini computer debuted

The world’s first dual-core ARM Cortex A9 core SoC processor, the Tegra 2 launched by NVIDIA, is not only popular in the smart phone and tablet market, but also has to invade the traditional computer field. CompuLab, which mainly produces industrial computers and embedded devices, recently announced a new product, Trim-Slice, known as the world's first Tegra 2 core desktop computer.

The size of the aircraft is 130x95x15mm, which is slightly larger than ordinary mobile hard disks. Its internal structure includes Tegra 2 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB DDR2-800 memory, maximum 64GB SATA solid-state drive, built-in 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth, Gigabit Ethernet interface, SD/microSD card reader, HDMI 1.3 plus dual-link DVI Video output, PAL/NTSC analog video input, stereo audio input and output, and 5.1-channel S/PDIF digital audio. Other interfaces include 4xUSB 2.0, RS232 serial ports, and JTAG, UART, SPI, and other interface extensions. The whole machine adopts 8-16V DC power supply and the average power consumption is 3W.

The uses that CompuLab set for Trim-Slice include media players, IPTV, infotainment systems, commercial display systems, game consoles, and desktop replacement computers. The aircraft will be listed in April, the price "higher than the streaming media player, but lower than the tablet." In addition to its own sales, the company will be more OEM customization for other manufacturers.
