Tongjia Company Introduces an Elimination/Suppression Chopper Control IC LD6801

Leadtrend Tech. Corp. introduces a control IC that eliminates/suppresses LED illumination from 100Hz to 120Hz chopping due to a single-stage high-power converter architecture – LD6801, which is suitable for replacing traditional luminaires Producing 100Hz~120Hz stroboscopic phenomenon, it is common to replace the traditional fluorescent lamp products. The main principle of LD6801 is to use the linear and saturation working of MOSFET to make the drain generate the corresponding voltage chopping level of the same front-level constant current source, and reduce the low-frequency chopping of the LED lamp board voltage to output on the lamp board. The current ripple is also relatively reduced, and the reason is that the driver is a constant current output device, and the harmonic distortion is mainly determined by the pre-PWM scheme, and must comply with the IEC61000-3-2 specification for the terminal product application.

The LD6801 is a very simple controller that eliminates/suppresses 100Hz/120Hz current ripple. It can eliminate/suppress various LED ripples and can be used with PWM LED constant current driver ICs, whether it is non-isolated or isolated.
