Each lighting center covers an area of ​​about 1,000 square meters, and the lighting equipment is Philips' new generation of high-efficiency solar LED lights.
The idea of ​​the project is to create a lighting area for remote areas without electricity supply, which will enrich the local people's life at night and create a lot of opportunities for social, sports and economic activities. These new lighting centers will promote and support the Royal Netherlands Football Association's WorldCoaches project in Africa and South America. The “World Coach†project is dedicated to developing football coaches for developing countries and using football to promote social development.
The first lighting centers will be completed in early 2013. Some villages and towns are located in areas where the grid is not covered or semi-covered, and schools close to these villages and towns will be key areas of lighting center construction (including certain areas of the city).
