Programming with G90 command, the workpiece and machining process are shown in Figure 3-24. The program is as follows: 2 Cutting cone command format: G90X(U)__Z(W)__I__(F__) as shown in Figure 3-25, X(U ), Z (W) has the same meaning as before. The I value is the difference between the radius of the tapered surface and the small diameter. The sign of the I is determined by the fact that the starting point of the cone surface is greater than the end point coordinate, and vice versa. 1.27mm (0.05") Pitch Pin Headers
The pin (male) header is generally mated with receptacle or stackable header connectors (female sockets). This types of pin headers are suitable for PCB board to board connection or for signal transmission application.

It is used in the case of cutting to a specified size without cutting, mainly in the case of roughing and multiple thread cutting. It mainly has the following types:
(1) Outer diameter and inner diameter roughing cycle command G71 This command cuts the workpiece to the size before finishing. The workpiece shape and roughing tool path before finishing are automatically set by the system according to the finishing dimensions.

Figure 3-26 shows the machining path of the outer diameter of the G71 rough car. In the figure, the starting point of the C roughing cycle, A is the intersection of the outer diameter of the blank and the contour of the end face. When this command is used for the inner diameter contour of the workpiece, the G71 will automatically become the inner diameter roughing cycle, and the radial finishing allowance Δu should be specified as a negative value.
(2) End face roughing cycle instruction G72 It is suitable for roughing of the end face of cylindrical bar blank. Its function is basically the same as that of G71. The difference is that G72 only finishes the roughing of the end face direction, and the tool path circulates in the radial direction. The loop path is shown in Figure 3-27. The instruction format and its address are the same as those of the G71.
(3) Closed turning cycle command G73 It is suitable for roughing when the blank contour shape is close to the contour shape of the part. For example, some forgings and castings of roughing, at this time using the G73 command for roughing will greatly save man-hours and improve cutting efficiency. Its function is basically the same as that of G71 and G72. The difference is that the tool path is cycled according to the workpiece finishing contour. The path of the tool is shown in Figure 3-28.

(4) The finishing cycle command G70 is used to execute the finishing cycle after the G71, G72, and G73 roughing cycle commands.

The ns and nf in the instruction have the same meaning as the previous instructions. In the G70 state, F, S, and T specified in the ns to nf program are valid; when F, S, and T are not specified in the ns to nf program, the F, S, and T specified in the roughing cycle are valid.
