HTC issued a new round of VR for Impact bonus, the amount of up to 10 million US dollars, the winner is actually?

HTC announced the winners of the first round of the VR for Impact project, which has a $10 million bonus for those VR developers who support the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The first app to accept the bonus is SpaceVR, which allows users to experience space from a satellite perspective. The second award-winning app is Tree, an interactive tactile experience that highlights the reality of deforestation. The third application is "Extraordinary Honey Bee."

The developers of SpaceVR will push the first US space exploration technology company (SpaceX) VR satellite experience into space later this year. After entering the space orbit, the satellite can transmit a panoramic VR or a 360-degree video stream. In this way, SpaceVR can provide a seemingly impossible first-person perspective of the space experience in the user's real environment.

Tree is a tactile-enhanced VR experience that explores the vast forests that have been felled and the impact on the environment by exploring the fate of life and the rainforest. The experience is also the official recommendation of the 2017 Sundance Film Festival and the Tribeca Film Festival.

The same "Extraordinary Honey Bee" introduced people that the current bees are decreasing at an alarming rate. This instructive VR experience evokes concerns about bee habitats and some of the protection options currently in place.

These award-winning projects can be accessed at the Viveport store upon completion. "SpaceVR", "Tree", and "Extraordinary Honey Bee" are the only three first-award winning entries. These works have been selected for many years of project planning and receive several grants each year. The HTC will also announce the 2017 subsidy program at the end of the year.
