OSRAM launches new LED lamp for residential lighting

It is reported that OSRAM Opto LED lighting has introduced DURIS E 5 LED, which is specially designed for the uniform light distribution required by the LED replacement lamp market. The DURIS E 5 LED has a wide range of color temperatures, high luminous efficiency, and natural color, making it suitable for residential and other general lighting applications.

The new LED package measures 5.6 x 3 mm and meets the 5630 industry standard and can be arranged closely to each other. In conjunction with the 120° beam angle, the light from the fixture is very uniform and does not produce any light shadows or visible light spots.

The DURIS E 5 offers 4000K, 5000K, 5700K and 6500K color temperatures and can be used as an incandescent lamp replacement lamp. It can also be mounted in flat and downlights for standard welding processes. In addition, DURIS E 5 is the newest member of the low-power LED (<1 W) portfolio for solid-state lighting. The existing DURIS E 3 is also available in different color temperatures with a color rendering index of 85.
