Purchase of efficient lighting products can be subsidized

Yesterday, the Anhui Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Finance recently issued the “Notice on Doing a Good Job in the Promotion of Fiscal Subsidies for High-efficiency Lighting Products in 2011”. The notice pointed out that by the end of 2011, Anhui Province had to complete the task of promoting financial subsidies for 6 million high-efficiency lighting products.

It is understood that the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Finance organize a unified tender to determine the successful bidder to deliver the province's suppliers: Foshan Electric Lighting Co., Ltd. 2 million small compact energy-saving lamps; Xiamen Donglin Electronics Co., Ltd. Small-power compact energy-saving 1.85 million lamps; Longyan Yihaote Energy Saving Lighting Co., Ltd. has 1 million small-power compact energy-saving lamps; Hengdian Debang Lighting Co., Ltd. has 450,000 high-power compact energy-saving lamps; Huizhou TCL Lighting Appliance Co., Ltd. double-end straight pipe 7000 fluorescent lamps.

The Development and Reform Commission and the Finance Bureau of each city in Anhui will be responsible for the promotion work in the region, formulate an implementation plan, and be responsible for supervising and inspecting the supply and installation of high-efficiency lighting products in the region. Anhui Province’s directly-affiliated units and provincial-level enterprises can report directly to the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, and the Anhui Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Monitoring and Information Center will be responsible for the convergence. Users with large usage and early installation schedules will be given priority.

In the specific promotion work, in the rural areas, the Development and Reform Commission of the cities and counties and the Finance Bureau convened a green lighting project promotion project meeting attended by county township leaders, and jointly held a launching ceremony supported by the winning bid promotion enterprises; in the urban area, the urban development and reform commission and the finance bureau Co-hosted the promotion meeting for energy-saving lamps and strengthened the implementation of the promotion work at the grass-roots level.
