Explore Wi-Fi smart sockets, how to achieve remote switch control

Recently, I got a new product, Broadlink Smart Socket, which is a creative product of a startup company in the field of home automation. If Baidu has a smart socket, it will find that the concept is very confusing. A variety of additional functions such as energy saving, timing, remote control, measurable power and even lightning protection can be called smart sockets. Broadlink smart sockets are different from these sockets. They can also be called Wi-Fi smart sockets. They are connected via Wi-Fi wireless network, and the switch is controlled locally or remotely by the mobile phone. Using the wireless routing at home and the smart devices in hand, Broadlink implements the simple function of remote switching.

The Broadlink smart socket looks a bit strange, and looks like a drop of water on the front. It is also relatively large in size and can basically cover a range of sockets on the wall. On the back side you can see that the nominal input voltage is AC 90V~245V and the current is up to 10A.
