MAX98304 Mono 3.2WD Class Amplifier

The MAX98304 mono 3.2W Class D amplifier provides class AB and Class D efficiency audio performance. The device provides five selectable gain settings (0dB, 3dB, 6dB, 9dB, and 12dB) set by a single gain selection input (gain).

Active radiation limitation, edge rate, and overshoot control circuits greatly reduce EMI. The filterless spread-spectrum modulation scheme eliminates the need for traditional output filtering in Class D devices. The number of applied components for these functions is reduced.

The quiescent current of 0.95mA (1.2mA at 5V) at the 3.7V IC can extend the battery life of portable applications.

The IC is available in 9 solder balls (1.0 mm x 1.0 mm) and a 0.3mm pitch WLP is in the -40 ° C to + 85 ° C temperature range.
